Is this a loan?
No. While cash advances are commonly referred to as “pre-settlement loans” or “post-settlement loans,” they are not loans at all. They are considered non-recourse funding which means that if the worst happens and you lose your case, you owe us nothing.
What documents does Broadway Funding Group need to make their decision?
If you are interested in applying for funding, just give us your attorney’s information so we can contact their office for the documentation we need. Or call your attorney personally and let them know you want to apply with us. Most of the time the only documents we ask your attorney for is a copy of the police or incident report and a copy of relevant medical records.
How much can I get?
You can get a cash advance from as little as $500 to as much as $50,000 or more. Sometimes, we can even offer ongoing monthly assistance. This all depends on your case. You can call us at 877-70-GET-CASH (877-704-3288) for a personal consultation about your case.
How long will it take to get my money?
You’ll receive our approval in as little as 24 hours – depending on how quickly your documents are received. If approved, you can pick up your check the same day.
Must a lawsuit be filed in order for me to get a cash advance?
No. As long as you have an attorney and are making a claim you may qualify for an advance.
What types of cases are eligible for a cash advance?
Most accidents involving negligence are eligible. Some of the more common ones are: auto accidents, construction site or workplace accidents, trip-and-fall incidents, You can call us at 877-70-GET-CASH (877-704-3288) to find out if your case is eligible.
Will my attorney need to sign any documents?
Yes, your attorney will need to sign an "Attorney Acknowledgement" form. By signing this form, your attorney acknowledges that he/she is aware of the cash advance given to you and agrees to repay the amount due from your settlement proceeds to Broadway Funding Group when they receive the settlement funds.
What is the benefit of getting a cash advance instead of a loan?
First, there are no credit or income checks, or collateral needed to secure an advance. Our decision is based solely on the merits of your case. Unlike a bank loan, or even credit cards, there are no monthly payments when you get a cash advance from BFG. But the biggest difference between a cash advance and a bank loan is this: when you take out a bank loan, the loan must be repaid in full, regardless of the outcome of your case. Not so with a cash advance from BFG. You repay the advance only if and when your case is successfully concluded. Not before. And, if your case isn’t successful there is nothing to repay. That’s a pretty significant difference!
What can a cash advance be used for?
You can use the money any way you want – to pay the mortgage/rent, your monthly bills, your credit card debt or get much needed medical attention. Once we hand you the check, it’s your money to use as you see fit.
What if I need more money at a later date?
Broadway Funding Group will further evaluate the case at that time and, in many cases, will offer another advance.
Does Broadway Funding Group get involved in my case?
No. How your case is handled is completely up to you and your attorney.
Does the cash advance affect my case?
It may. Attorneys tell us that when you receive a cash advance it affords them the time they need to win you a fair settlement.
If I lose the case is there anything to repay?
No, since this is a “non-recourse” advance, there is absolutely nothing to repay if you do not receive a settlement, judgment or award.
